FUMC’s ALIVE Vegetable Garden: Help with occasional watering during the summer months. Also welcomed is help with light
weeding and tending of plants. All of our organic produce goes to the ALIVE food
warehouse. If you would like to help, please contact Anne Wilson.
Our regular workday is Tuesday morning from 10-11:30 a.m.; however, we can
accommodate you during other times as needed.
Weekly Van Dorn Habitat Maintenance: All are welcome to come on Mondays from 10:00-11:30 a.m. for all or any part
of that time. Bring garden gloves, clippers if you have them, and a water bottle. Also make
sure to wear sunscreen. Please contact Anne Wilson for more information.
Carpenters Shelter Volunteers Needed: On the 4th Saturday of each month Fairlington provides
meals to about 50 residents of Carpenters Shelter. For 2024 there are still 7 months that still need
volunteers to provide the meal. If you are interested in supporting this ministry, please contact Barbara
Gomez.

Easter Bag Preparation
Sunday, March 17, 12:15 p.m.
Meet in the Fellowship Hall following the 11:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday, March 17 to put together the Easter bags. Any supplies like candy and treats with an eye on sustainability. We will order coloring books, chalk and we have crayons -- other suggestions are welcome. These will go to Rising Hope, Carpenter's Shelter and a select group with the Alexandria City Schools.
