Helene Disaster Response UMCOR Cleaning Buckets: In response to the devastating destruction caused by Hurricane Helene, we have a goal of building 50 Cleanup Buckets on Sunday, October 13. We will meet immediately following worship and then send the assembled buckets to a Northern Virginia collection site. They will go on to the Virginia Conference Center and then to our distribution center in North Carolina. (All available supplies have been depleted at this point.)

You can help in THREE ways:

1. PACK THE BUCKETS on October 13 after worship.
2. PURCHASE ITEMS off Amazon Wish List  - or -  buy Laundry detergent (32-64 ounces), Liquid Cleaner Concentrate like Lysol, Fantastic etc (no spray bottles & 16-40 ounces), or Dish Soap (16-34 ounces) at a local store and deliver to Fairlington.
3. DONATE FUNDS to help cover the cost of shipping the buckets. 

Items purchased on Amazon can be delivered directly to the church. Items purchased locally can be placed in the box in the narthex. And, you can donate towards the cost of shipping online (select fund: “other” and write in UMCOR Buckets).
